The Humminbird 300TX tri-beam system uses three sonar beams to form a continuous 900-degree area of uninterrupted coverage. The Fishfinder's precise center beam locates fish and maps out the bottom structure in detail, while two wide beams look to the left and right to cover an area twice the depth of the water. In other words, if you're fishing in 20 feet of water, the wide beams cover a 40-foot-wide area. The fish in the center beam are solid, while the fish in the wide beams are hollow and point left or right to indicate location. Specific features include a split-screen zoom, depth alarm to 99 feet, adjustable three-size fish alarm, a temperature/speed gauge, a quick-disconnect mount, a built-in simulator, and a clear view lens. The unit is also waterproof and comes with a two-level backlit display.

Included are the Fishfinder, transducer, 20-foot transducer cable, mounting hardware kit, 6-foot power cable, user's manual.
